Just before the end of 2014, the ESB a reached the symbolic target of one thousand members (counting only those in good standing). This was celebrated by giving away a prize of 5 years of free membership to the 1000th individual member. The lucky new member is Ehsan Soodmand from Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany).
The Italian National Chapter will celebrate its next meeting in Milan on the 5th of June. The Meeting will include the General Assembly of the Italian Chapter (including re-election of the ExBo).
The Spanish National Chapter closed its fourth Meeting, which was held in Valencia on 21st November, organized by the LabHuman group.
Please note that any ESB active or student member in good standing and affiliated to an organization located in Italy/Spain/Austria is also a rightful member of the Italian/Spanish/Austrian National Chapter of the ESB. The same applies to corporate members whose legal site is located in Italy/Spain/Austria, and to honorary and senior members who are resident in Italy/Spain. ESB members of Italian/Spanish/Austrian nationality, but working or resident in other countries, can also join the Chapter by sending a request to the President of the Chapter.
