Call for Huiskes Medal nominations
We are pleased to launch the call for nominations for the Huiskes Medal for Biomechanics, which will be awarded at the 23rd ESB congress in Seville, 2017. This award is the ESB’s highest scientific tribute, presented in honour of Prof. R. Huiskes, and awarded to senior researchers who have contributed significantly to biomechanics throughout their careers.
Candidate nominations in consideration for the Huiskes Medal for Biomechanics should include a 1-2 sided letter of nomination that highlights the candidate’s career achievements and contributions to biomechanics as well as a full publication list
The deadline for nominations for the Huiskes Medal for Biomechanics is November 1st, 2016. Submit your candidate nominations to the Chairman of the ESB Awards.

Call for Award submissions ESB Seville 2017
There will be opportunities to apply for awards in conjunction with ESB 2017, such as the Best Doctoral Thesis in Biomechanics, the ESB Student award and the ESB poster award with most awards having a deadline of 31st January 2017.

Call for Abstracts ESB Seville 2017
The 23rd ESB Congress will take place at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, from the 2nd to the 5th of July 2017. Registration and abstract submission will open in November 2016. The abstract submission deadline is 31st January 2017.
