16 MARCH 2015 Abstract evaluation deadline

2 APRIL 2015 Notification about the abstract acceptance

15 MAY 2015 Early bird registration deadline

PRE-COURSES:

Short Course of Tissue Engineering: focused on nanomaterials, technology of their fabrication and the use of nanomaterials in biomedicine. This one day course is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical.

Combined experimental and modelling approach to clinical applications: focused on the main mechanical testing techniques used for biological biomimetic tissues (biological investigation including stress/strain behavior, medical usage of micro-tomography, multiscale and homogenization techniques in tissue modelling, clinical application – Computer assist diagnosis and software modelling).

Evaluation of implant´s stability: the aim of the course is to describe the role of stability of implants for their success rate. The course includes a theoretical and a practical part.

PLENARY SPEAKERS:

Jacob Klein, Weizmann Institute of Science, “Molecular mechanisms of biological lubrication “

Jeffrey A. Weiss, University of Utah, “FEBio: Finite Elements for Biomechanics”.

Prof Richard M Hall, University of Leeds, Title to be announced.

REGISTRATION:

Early registration until the 15th of May is advised to benefit from the congress reduced fee. The registration fee covers welcome reception, coffee breaks, lunches, sessions, bag, and printed materials.
