Presenter information

The time and lecture room of your presentation are listed in the programme and can be retrieved in the ESB2023 Conftool website, or using the Conference4me app.

All presentations must be prepared and delivered in English. 

All presenters are asked to respect the duration of presentations as follows: 
– 12 min. (incl. discussion) for podium presentations,
– 25 min. (incl. discussion) for perspective talks, 
– 45 min. (incl. discussion) for keynote lectures.

The chairs are requested to stop the presentation after the allotted time has passed. 

Presentations upload:

Please upload your presentation in 0.13, the speaker ready room. There are Windows workstations were you can check your presentation and the technicians will upload your file to the correct presentation room.

If you have any questions you can ask the crew assisting in the speaker ready room.

Preferred presentation settings:

• Powerpoint files in widescreen (16:9).

• Please include all movies and fonts (when using non standard fonts)

Please bring your presentation on USB and upload it ideally one day before, or at least 2 hours before your session starts. Presentations cannot be uploaded directly in the meeting rooms, and the use of personal laptops for presentation is not allowed! 
NB: If you are presenting in one of the first morning sessions on July 10, you should come to upload your presentation ideally on the day before (July 9) in the afternoon – if you are already in Maastricht – or directly on July 10 at 7:30 am.

Please check the time and lecture room of your presentation in the ESB 2023 final program, or in the Conference4me app, as their may be some last minute changes.

Make sure to be present in the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session and let the chairperson know you are there. Please make sure to stay in your session to ensure smooth transitions from presentation to presentation.

There will be assisting staff in each lecture room in case any problems occur.
