Risotto alla milanese for everybody

With the support of a true Milanese cook you will directly prepare with your hands a perfect risotto alla Milanese no matter if this is your first try in the kitchen or where you are, it will be very easy… all together linked by a worldwide risotto!

Risotto Ingredients (for 4 persons):
- 400 g (14 oz) Carnaroli rice (alternatively Arborio or Vialone Nano rice)
- 50 g (2 oz) Butter
- 1/2 Onion or alternatively 1 shallot
- 100 ml (3 1/2 fl oz) good white Italian wine
- 1.5 Litre (1 3/4 pints) of hot beef or vegetable bouillon (*)
- 0.15-0.20 g Saffron powder (usually 1 sachet) or Saffron crimson
- 60 g (2 1/2 oz) grated true Parmesan cheese
- Salt for seasoning
(*) you can prepare the bouillon:
– for cooking lovers: the day before boiling for more than one hour 2 litres (3 pints) of tub water with 2 carrots, one onion, some salt, a couple of celery legs and a piece of beef meet (7/8 hg.)
– veggy version for cooking lovers: the day before boiling for more than one hour 2 litres (3 pints) of tub water with 2 carots, one onion, some salt, a couple of celery legs
– speedy version: boiling for 10 minutes 2 litres of tub water with 2 stock cubes (veggy or beef cubes it’s up to you)
– super speedy version: buying an already prepared bouillon (available in any grocery)
