Reminder: Upcoming Deadlines for ESB Awards

Reminder: Call for Award submissions for ESB Prague 2015

Please be aware that the deadlines for the European Society of Biomechanics awards 2015 will shortly be closing:

Best PhD Thesis (honorarium €2,000 + fees + banquet) acknowledges the most outstanding doctoral thesis that has contributed to the advancement of the theory and/or applications within the field of Biomechanics. Deadline for application is the 31st January 2015. Please see http://esbiomech.org?page_id=40 for complete details.

Student Award (honorarium €1,000 + 3x€ 250) based on the recommendation of the Awards Committee selecting the four best proceeding abstracts with a student as first author. Deadline for receipt of nominations for 2015 Student award is coincident with the closing date for abstract submission for ESB-2015, 30th Jan 2015. Please see http://esbiomech.org?page_id=38 for complete details.

Travel awards (each €400). The purpose of the Travel Awards is to financially help young researchers to participate at the ESB Congress. The deadline for application is 10th May 2015

Other awards: Best Poster (honorarium €300)
